Nach dem grandiosen Sieg über die orientalische Mafia ist Torrente aus dem Polizeidienst ausgeschieden und mittlerweile so stinkreich, dass er sich halb Spanien leisten kann…ok, zumindest eine Luxussuite mit Whirpool. Doch als er beim Roulette sein ganzes Vermögen aufs Spiel setzt und verliert, ist es vorbei mit dem Luxusleben. Da er jetzt wieder selbst für seinen Lebensunterhalt sorgen muss, gründet Torrente zusammen mit Cuco eine Detektei. Doch die Katze lässt das Mausen nicht, und so geraten Cuco und Torrente schon bald in den Clinch mit Oberboss Spinelli. Spinelli hat 2 Raketen auf Marbella gerichtet und stellt eine Lösegeldforderung in Millionenhöhe. Und Torrente ist in der Pflicht, das Geld aufzutreiben… (Verleiher-Text)

I don’t care what the ratings say—Torrente is the king, and anything less than five stars is just wrong. This sequel is pretty much the same as the first, and that’s exactly what makes it great. José Luis Torrente is still surrounded by idiots he takes advantage of, still bored in the car offering his partner a cross handjob, still drinking like a fish, and still harassing prostitutes. It's just classic Torrente. I can’t imagine anyone not laughing at this—if you don't find it funny, you’ve got to be a real buzzkill.
