Two out of the three omens announcing the end of the world have appeared. The dying Master summons his disciples for the last attempt to save humankind with the only hope being the sacrifice of an innocent youth. Rudolf, who is also the narrator of the film, becomes the chosen one. The story is inspired by a real occult sect operating in Silesia. The grotesque, surrealist theme along with the elements of magic realism cannot deny its character typical of Majewski – the narrative consists of a series of artistically stylised images derived from the industrial landscape of Silesia, from the apocalyptical atmosphere and from the visions of the director himself.
