Englisch A great plot with a tedious delivery and a few final lapses in the logic of the world – the ending in the taxi in particular doesn't make sense. It should have been a bit shorter and should have avoided the safe route. I'd really like to read the comic (not out here yet) because I liked Si Spencer's “Constantine” a lot also thanks to of the great wisecracks and interesting twists. ()

Englisch I was expecting an ordinary sci-fi time travel thing that in many ways wouldn’t make sense and it will be another bland spectacle, but I got a surprisingly excellent piece within the sub-genre, which even A-list directors shouldn't be ashamed of. We follow three (even four) timelines in which the same body – a naked man with a shot eye – appears on the same day. A detective from each line searches for the killer and the circumstances of the discovery of the body, and what they come up with is definitely worthwhile. I really like the gradual dosage of information in all the lines, everything makes perfect sense chronologically, you don’t get lost in the plot and have a perfect overview, and the detectives themselves are great, they have charisma around their characters and even visually the transitions between all four lines here (1890, 1941, 2023, 2050) are great, the locations and costumes captivated me and I was really subliminally very satisfied. And not only was this all perfect, but the ending, the denouement and the final two "explanatory" episodes make perfect sense (really!!!) and I can finally say, after finishing it, that I understand everything perfectly and that everything is perfectly constructed. The result is perhaps one of the best time-loop ventures and I have to admit that this one had balls – from the setting and the actors, to the suspense, the pacing and the detective unraveling of the cases, and generally the idea itself, which is pretty damn original, to the whole story's denouement with all the twists and turns. Maximum satisfaction. Comparisons with the Dark are definitely in order, but this is far more coherent and meaningful and you don’t get as lost here as in Dark, where the creators put together the episodes with a random scene generator.
