Regisseur Damien Cockburn ist verzweifelt. Wegen der Allüren seiner exzentrischen Filmstars explodieren die Produktionskosten. Abhilfe soll ein Standortwechsel verschaffen. Kurzerhand verlegt Cockburn die Dreharbeiten für das Vietnam-Epos an den Originalschauplatz - den südostasiatischen Dschungel. Als seine Hauptdarsteller dabei schwer bewaffneten Drogenschmugglern in die Quere kommen, halten sie diese für Schauspielkollegen. Ein folgenschwerer Irrtum. (ORF)
