Die beiden Freundinnen Vicky und Cristina lernen bei einem Trip nach Spanien den Maler Juan Antonio kennen. Cristina ist auf der Stelle von dem charmanten Künstler angetan, und die beiden entwickeln schnell Gefühle füreinander. Allerdings dauert es nicht lange, bis auch die eigentlich verlobte Vicky sich in den exotischen Mann verliebt. Als dann auch noch dessen stürmische Ex-Frau wieder auf der Bildfläche erscheint, endet der Sommerurlaub im Chaos. (ATV2)
