Kathleen lebt getrennt von ihrem Mann, dem Lieutenant Kirby Yorke. Ihr gemeinsamer Sohn tritt in Yorkes Garnison ein, um gegen die Indianer zu kämfen und Kathleen versucht vergeblich, ihren Sohn davon abzuhalten, ohne sich mit ihrem Mann zu versöhnen. Erst eine Strafversetzung nach London macht dies möglich. Der erste Film in dem John Wayne und Maureen O'Hara ein Paar geben, bietet auch reizvolle Landschaften aus dem Staat Utah. (ORF)

A film that stands out for its stunt work and the acrobatics displayed. A great display of cowboy (equestrian) skills, as well as circus artistry. Of course, that's not what the film is about, but it's the main aspect that caught my attention. Besides the fact that I watched a film with the Duke after a long time, where he appears even in scenes where we don't see him that often, it's a good western that didn't completely captivate me.
