Eirick, König der Wikinger, ist schon lange tot. Doch jetzt kehrt er zu den Lebenden zurück, um gegen den Donnergott Thor zu kämpfen, der sich die Macht über die Menschen mit drei magischen Gegenständen sichern will: dem Hammer Mjolnir, einer Zauber-Kette sowie dem Horn Helmheins. Three fundamental elements are the basis for its lack of success. The first is Dominic Purcell. Let's face it, he's not a master actor, and you could count the good films he's been in on one finger. The second is the Viking theme in an American-Malaysian co-production. Because Americans and Malaysians are certainly knowledgeable about Norse stories and legends... And finally, the cheap production. Nothing good could come of it and it didn't. The special effects here are handled like garbage, both the practical and digital. They just pile up in a heap without any order. You can't even talk about there being any acting in it. Thor does have great red hair, but there are also plenty of awkward dialogues in this film.
