I understand that initially, it's not a horror film, but on the other hand, some scenes clearly lean towards that genre classification. The film tries to be a dramatic meditation on the human condition in the world and society, but it simply doesn't succeed in that. It's not profound; the ideas here are not elaborated upon but rather just hinted at. That's just not good enough. The film pretends to have something to say, but it just doesn't. So you spend almost 90 minutes watching something that ultimately doesn't give you anything at all.
