Englisch The TV fairy tale for 2013 certainly isn't anything grand, but I have to say I quite enjoyed it, especially because it's a fairly functional fairy tale that combines elements of Oliver Twist and Aladdin. Some actors are terribly miscast, especially the main protagonist who isn't impressive, and Jiřina Bohdalová is incredibly annoying in her role, just like Viktor Preiss's accent. However, otherwise, the fairy tale was watchable. Lately, Czech Television hasn't managed to produce anything much better, but surprisingly, the special effects in the fairy tale are quite good. ()
