A decent military ending lacking a bit more careful character work and perhaps, subjectively speaking, more dramatically portrayed consequences of their actions, but that will probably all build up in the later episodes of the second season. Ironically the last episode isn't the most intense, it just spectacularly encourages an immediate viewing of season 2.

Like the previous episodes, the finale was brilliantly written and directed, with the usual fantastic atmosphere. It was fascinating to watch government officials waver between justice and varying degrees of evil. Despite the entire episode building up to one big final action, I was thoroughly entertained the whole time.
