As artistically conceived darkness, The Alphabet is a perfect bedtime story for your kids if you want them to have a lifelong fear of the alphabet and anything associated with it. ()
The Alphabet is one of David Lynch's very first films, his student film. Here, he combines animation with live-action, utilizing various filmmaking techniques. It's too much for one film. Moreover, here you'll find out whether this author's style resonates with you or not. His imagination is unique, and even here he shows that the dark side of human beings and their bodies resonate with him, as well as the industrial essence of the modern world, which appears much more prominently in his film Eraserhead.
