Dem putzigen Mäuserich Stuart Little fällt das bezaubernde Vogelmädchen Margalo vor die Kühlerhaube seines knallroten Flitzers. Klar, dass er die gefiederte Lady bei seiner Adoptivfamilie, den Littles, gesund pflegen will. Angestiftet von einem heimtückischen Falken stiehlt Margalo jedoch Eleanors kostbarsten Ring und verschwindet spurlos. Stuart kann es nicht glauben. Gemeinsam mit Kater Snowbell startet er eine abenteuerliche Suche durch die gefährlichen Straßenschluchten New Yorks. (ORF)

It’s emotionally just as good as the first installment. It’s a family film that won't offend and is occasionally funny, but not overly so, and above all, great for kids because there are moments that can make them shiver with fear as well as moments when they'll cheer with their hero. The white mouse is just a lure for kids. How many families probably got a rat or mouse as a pet after these movies? The magic of the first one doesn't quite work as well anymore, but the follow-up is fairly decent.
