Obwohl Dr. Hawker beim Essen mit Poirot und Hastings nicht gestört werden möchte, kann diese Nachricht nicht warten: Sein Patient Graf Foscatini hat angerufen und liegt im Sterben. Als die drei in Foscatinis Wohnung ankommen, finden sie diesen ermordet vor. Die Polizei sucht nach Signor Ascanio, mit dem Foscatini zu Abend gegessen hat. It's such a serene episode, where someone dies again, but it's all in such a relaxed atmosphere, where you kind of sense who the killer might be, somewhat from the beginning, because there's one surprisingly unexpected element present. But the series is still good and can be suspenseful. Here, they also utilize a bit of those cars that Hastings is very fond of.
