Englisch A story that feels tailor-made for Scandinavian cinema — dark, intense, and centered around a serial killer. It’s exactly the kind of premise that fans of Nordic films crave. You’d expect a gripping plot and a well-paced narrative that draws you in with its atmosphere and stark Nordic setting. And while the film has all of that — the good and the bad — unfortunately, it falls short. The concept is intriguing, especially if you’re into Scandinavian vibes, but the reality is that not much actually happens over the course of its two-hour runtime. ()

Englisch The film The Perfect Patient sparked my interest in the scandalous case of Thomas Quick, which has become a black mark on the Swedish legal system. It's just a pity about the weak screenplay, which director Mikael Håfström managed to handle decently; however, the storytelling lacks more pronounced progression. It is worth mentioning the credible performances of the main actors Jonas Karlsson and David Dencik. (60%) ()
