Eine Fliege kommt selten allein

Auch die Franzosen machen Fehler. Ein schrecklicher Film – zwei Idioten mit einer riesigen Fliege treffen auf zwei seltsame Mädchen und Adèle Exarchopoulos, die sich wie eine Behinderte verhält. Zusammen mit dem Bruder von einem der Mädchen verbringen sie Zeit in einem Ferienhaus und versuchen, die riesige Fliege zu verstecken. Soll das lustig sein?! Ich markiere Herrn Quentin Dupieux mit großen roten Buchstaben in der Kategorie PLUS JAMAIS. (02.04.2024)

First, one idiot appears on the scene, then the second idiot. And then a fly locked in a suitcase… it must be noted that the fly is the size of the suitcase itself. And the story by Mr. Oizo can begin. Actually, a classic in his performance. In this case, however, a classic that I royally enjoyed. Absurd humor that may not make you laugh at first, sometimes not even a second time. You have to penetrate it, like with Wrong Cops. Those two guys play the idiots so brilliantly that you don't believe they are not real. Their road trip through the French seaside environment then takes on momentum and ends so fantastically cleverly that even with the title melody you won't want it to ever end. (24.11.2022)

I didn't expect the plot to correspond so closely with the mandibles in the title; that alone was enough to amuse me. Quentin Dupieux has created another absurd spectacle, which, surprisingly, suited me rather well. I even found the central pair of dumb-asses likeable, brilliantly portrayed by David Marsais and Grégoire Ludig, let alone Dominica the fly. I laughed a few times, even though I kept wondering what kind of sick brain could have come up with this. (70%) (08.07.2022)
