Ted Lasso

Truth be told, the beginning of the third season with Ted Lasso starts rather slowly. But that's not a problem at all, because the emotional rollercoaster is not far behind. A wonderful merging of football and individual characters, where both groups get adequate space and beautifully intertwine. There were moments when I just stared at how well all the key characters are written here. Each one goes through some major turnaround, each one touches your heart or makes a cut in your soul. It's unbelievable how the screenwriters pulled this off. What engulfed me in the third season, I told everyone that this is the screenwriting peak. And the ending confirmed it for me. It felt like someone had ripped out my heart and stomped it on the sidewalk. I haven't felt like this about movie characters in a long time. Ted Lasso is a beautiful series and I am so glad that it's here with us. You may or may not like football. This is still an emotional exploration into the soul of anyone who cares about pure humanity. And there are truly plenty of such moments here. (02.06.2023)
