In der Neuverfilmung der mexikanischen Hit -Komödie Nosotros los Nobles versucht der französische Millionär Francis Bartek, seinen verzogenen und mittlerweile erwachsenen Kindern eine Lektion fürs Leben zu erteilen: Damit sie endlich lernen, auf eigenen Beinen zu stehen und nicht mehr Papas auf der Tasche zu liegen, gibt er vor, pleite zu sein und von den Behörden gesucht zu werden. Gérard Jugnot is pretty much a staple of modern, feel-good French comedies. If he's in it, you're usually in for a decent time, and Spoiled Brats is no exception. The story is a bit worn out, but it's still an enjoyable watch, even if it doesn’t deliver any particularly hilarious or original moments.

More of a fun movie than a gag-filled ride, but I enjoyed it. It's got a decent and novel plot about three spoiled siblings who are enjoying their dream life. Their father is about to teach them a lesson and hatches a plan to make them lose all their money so that they can take on the roles of ordinary people. The characters are likeable and some scenes are very cool (the priest and the unemployment office!), it has a fine moral lesson and oozes feel-good atmosphere throughout. Not a big hit, but perfect for a boring evening. 7/10.
